In this exhibition, the artist Nam Hwayeon tentativevly concludes her investigation in the work of modern Korean dancer and choreographer Choi Seung-hee, a long-term project driven by her interest in the body as a site for historical time to pass through. In 2014, we made a poster for her first Mind Stream project, and it semi-fictitiously announced two events, the artist’s work and Choi Seung-hee’s presumed 1935 performance. For this show’s promotional materials, we took the 2014 poster and added yet another layer of information about the current event.
