Twelve graphic designers were invited to contribute to the Korean Society of Typography’s 2021 calendar. Each participant was assigned a month, and ours was August. We wanted our calendar to look both plain and strange at the same time. The resemblance of the number “8” with the infinity symbol might have influenced the idea. Or maybe it was the pandemic situation and the feeling of being trapped.
