Sulki Choi
was born in Seoul, South Korea.
She studied visual communication design
at Chung-Ang University, Korea,
and earned her MFA degree
at Yale University (US)
with a thesis on
the pragmatics of the diagram.
After working for two years
as researcher at Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht (Netherlands),
she returned to Korea.
Sulki is now
working on an artist publication program as the publisher
of Specter Press.
Min Choi
was born in Seoul, South Korea.
He studied visual communication design
at Seoul National University, Korea,
and earned his MFA degree
at Yale University (US)
with a thesis on
visibility, surveillance and graphic design.
After working for two years
as researcher at Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht (Netherlands),
he returned to Korea.
Min is now
teaching graphic design and typography
as full-time lecturer
at the University of Seoul.
Sulki & Min Choi
have been working together since 2001.
They collaborate on various commissioned as well as self-initiated projects.
