The documentation centre is a publicly accessible place for research on the Jan van Eyck Academie. Its focus is on documentation about the institute; the programme (both past and present); the work, on paper or in an audiovisual/digital format, of (advising) researchers and technical members of staff (present and past). The centre also gathers general information about/from (art) institutes in the Netherlands and abroad concerning upcoming exhibitions, relevant competitions, cultural activities et cetera.

The aim of the documentation centre is to manage and make accesible the knowledge to the already explored research fields, in order to keep these available for future research. The documentary material in the centre is for reference only and cannot be borrowed.
