Researchers can turn to the expertise of the academy’s staff concerning the coordination, editing, print work guidance and publicity of productions, such as analogue and digital publications, installations, exhibitions and activities (lectures, symposia ...). Researchers can approach the staff for advice, for setting up production plans and budgets or for contacting external parties in the case of external productions.

News

Workshops are first and foremost places for experimentation and for obtaining technical advice. The technical staff provides information about the specific characteristics of particular materials and production processes and the functionality of hardware and software. They also inform researchers and advising researchers on the artistic consequences of the use of particular techniques and materials. In case necessary, alliances are formed with institutions that can provide complementary and specialized guidance and equipment.

The director’s secretariat takes care of the internal and external communication processes. The information flow within the academy has been streamlined to form a ‘artistic/institutional content dossier’. Its objective is to provide a permanent and rapid internal (decisions of the Policy and Editorial Boards) and subsequently external communication about artistic and institutional affairs. In addition, the director’s secretariat also takes care of public relations (institutional, events and productions) and a distribution policy made-to-measure per production.
